As the Senior Operations Director at Resound Research for Reproductive health, Lisa is responsible for the front and back end administrative and operating functions of the organization including business operations, financial management, and human resources. Lisa has over 15 years of experience overseeing sexual and reproductive health research teams.
Lisa holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the New School with a concentration in Public Health. She started her career at the local Planned Parenthood affiliate in Philadelphia as a clinical research coordinator. After five years precepting graduate students in their research capstones, Lisa transitioned to the National Office of Planned Parenthood (PPFA) and moved to Boise, Idaho. There, Lisa expanded a national research network and oversaw 70+ research studies conducted nationwide, many of which resulted in positive changes in sexual and reproductive health care provision.
For her next career phase, Lisa hopes to support the resound team in producing the science that can make meaningful contributions to the sexual health and health care policy debates. Lisa envisions a world in which high-quality, rigorous research is accessible and guides policies so people and communities can access the health care they need, want, and deserve.
