Laura is the Communications Director at Resound Research for Reproductive Health. She has 10+ years of experience in research communication and dissemination. At Resound Research, she manages media relations and communications strategy.
Laura has grown as a Texas reproductive health policy specialist, starting her career with the Texas Policy Evaluation Project and transitioning to Resound Research. She has an MA from Emory University and a PhD from UT Austin in media studies, with a concentration in gender studies.
In her role at Resound Research, Laura hopes to use research to shine a light on the ways reproductive health policies can have a wide-ranging impact on the lives and wellbeing of all people and communities.
