Anitra is a research affiliate at Resound Research for Reproductive Health and a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist. At Resound Research, she brings the perspective of a physician and researcher to issues such as the impact of Texas’ abortion laws on patient care and access.
She attended Baylor College of Medicine for medical school and residency training. She completed her complex family planning fellowship and obtained a MPH at Columbia University.
As a physician who has practiced in several health care systems, I have an insider’s view on how our system works well for some and to the detriment of others. I want all folks to have safe, respectful, patient-centered, health promoting interactions with the health care system and their providers. I want to be part of the solution.
