Dr. Samuel Dickman is the Chief Medical Officer at Planned Parenthood of Montana and a researcher at the City University of New York Research Foundation. He conducts research on reproductive health policy, survivors of sexual violence, and opioid addiction.
Lisa Della Badia, MS, CCRC
Lisa is a sexual and reproductive health clinical researcher whose work is focused on organizational compliance and operations, partnership building, and strategy. Her work aims to position and strengthen the impact of Resound Research.
Lauren Thaxton, MD, MBA, MSBS
Dr. Thaxton is an Assistant Professor and practicing OB/GYN in the Department of Women’s Health at Dell Medical School. She has been working with Resound Research investigating novel tools for addressing issues/dissatisfaction with postpartum contraception.
Ophra Leyser-Whalen, PhD
Dr. Leyser-Whalen is an Associate Professor of Sociology specializing in reproductive health and justice at The University of Texas at El Paso. She works with Resound Research on projects related to abortion funds and reproductive health on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Jeanette Cunningham Rottas, MA
Jeanette manages Resound Research’s portfolio of research projects. She brings 15 years’ experience expertise in impact analysis, program management, and evaluation research to the team in pursuit of health equity.

Iris’ work focuses on evidence-based, community-centered research. Her interests include reproductive health and justice, women’s rights advocacy, community mobilization, and sexual health education.
Anitra Beasley, MD, MPH
Dr. Beasley is Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology and complex family planning. Her research interests include access to contraception and family planning services, bias in medical care, and reduction of health disparities.
Laura Dixon, PhD
Dr. Dixon aims to generate and disseminate high-impact research in the service of ensuring reproductive health policy and programs support the health and wellness of all populations.
